The topic of health policy and health reform are not new specifically with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. This topic brings about several questions and debates Many may wonder how this is beneficial to them and what if does for them. There are several aspects that go into health care decisions and concerns. Policy makers need to take into consideration the consumer, values, morals, markets, and government involvement.
Health care is very costly, previously many were not able to afford insurance or just couldn’t get it because they were “too sick”. This does not seem fair in any way. Prior to the implementation of the ACA, many were not able to afford insurance or were not eligible to receive coverage.
